TRIGONOMETRY

MY CAREER

We have chosen two different options of what we want to study. Our two careers are Choreography and Psychology, we have chosen them to investigate how trigonometry is involved in each career. Every career has Mathematics, even though we don't think they do.
Choreography is a discipline where you design sequences of movements with a determinated form and motion. Choreography is used in other fields including cheerleading, cinematography, gymnastics, ice skating, theatre,synchronized swimming and video game production.
In choreography trigonometry is used for having a synchronized, nice and good looking dance. Dancers need measurements and angles to make an organize and coordinate dance and movements.
Psychology is the scientific study of human and animal behavior, Psychology´s objective is to understand why do humans and animals act like they do. Psychology has many branches, including developmental psychology, animal psychology, educational psychology, psychotherapy, industrial psychology, etc.
In Psychology they use trigonometry for making surveys or calculating how many people that live in the same place are experiencing same kind of problem. For example, this graph shows how stress has been increasing by the last 2 years.
